This wonderful family in Highgate, London is looking for a Live in Nanny-Housekeeper to help them in looking after their charming toddler and two school-aged children whilst maintaining the cleanliness of their property. The role will entail all hands-on housekeeping to a very high standard, so product knowledge and experience caring for a mixture of finishes is essential. The role will also involve working closely with the families and cover school pick-ups by car and nursery duties. They are looking for someone friendly and have a flexible, can-do-attitude who is happy to help where needed to contribute to the smooth running of the family life and maintain high standards in the home. The candidate will also be expected to cook and prepare meals for the children.Someone who can drive and holds a full driving license is a must and an automatic car will be provided to do school runs in the afternoon. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.Working hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, 52.5 hours per week plus babysitting occasionally.Accommodation: Private annex (attached to main house) with separate entrance, 1 bedroom and kitchen/living area.Duties include:
- assisting with bath time routine
- dressing the children
- feeding them
- cleaning them up after every meal
- taking them to playdates
- preparing various age-appropriate activities
- playing with them
- helping the other children with homework
- making sure they are always happy and safe
- changing nappies and helping the little one with potty/toilet training
- teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners
- take care of the household
- cooking for the family
- making sure the toilet and bathroom are clean
- doing the grocery shopping and errands
- organising cupboards and changing bedsheets
