You will be given full autonomy, responsibility and accountability for a top 5 grocery account, driving commercial success and excellence across the Waitrose estate through collaboration with key stakeholders, internally and externally.Meaningful Work From Day OneLeading the Joint Business Plan and having full P&L ownership, managing all variables (commercial, marketing, supply chain.) to deliver the plan while developing longer term strategic and commercial plans for your account.An important part of this role will be to lead the brand activation plans, working closely with Customer Marketing internally and the customers media partners.This is an FTC till March 2025. This is a home based role that can be based across the UK.What You Can Expect● Build Strong Relationships – Build and develop best in class relationships both externally with our Retail Partner and internally with Key Stakeholders and other functions within Brown-Forman. Looking beyond the outline trading plan and pursue new opportunities/ ways of working to strengthen the relationship and performance within the Waitrose● Lead the JBP Process – Plan, agree and deliver the JBP, managing the process ensuring that the JBP delivers against B-F key metrics as well as delivering against the customers KPI’s.● Develop Commercial & Strategic Plans – Working with key functions such as RGM and Customer Marketing along with other stakeholders to develop commercial and strategic plans that deliver long term sustainable growth for the account.● Manage the P&L – Meet/exceed annual volume, value & profit objectives of all brands across your account.● Administration Accountability – Ensure all admin (internally and externally) is complete correctly and on time, such as, invoicing, promotional nominations, new line forms, cost price changes, forecast updates etc.What You Bring to the Table● Strong sales and account management experience with a proven track record of successfully delivering brand growth in a highly competitive environment.● Demonstrated ability to forecast and analyse accurately, with an attention to detail.● Working collaboratively is hugely important, you will also have excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.● Entrepreneurship and an eye for new opportunities, to exceed the plan.● Strong computer skills with current, or the ability to quickly build, proficiency in Google Workspace.What Makes You Unique● You are proactive, goal-oriented and passionate about delivering results and constantly seek to improve.● You have a positive attitude and can demonstrate resilience by overcoming challenges and staying calm under pressure.● You are a team player, who wants to share experience and seek to support others to achieve the business goals.Who We AreWe believe great people build great brands.
