The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.About the Role:
As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the night, managing all guest queries and concerns with the utmost professionalism. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming and registering guests according to hotel standards and legal requirements.
- Addressing guest queries or issues promptly to ensure a comfortable and secure stay.
- Assisting and communicating effectively with all departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Handling reservation queries and following correct procedures to optimize room rates.
- Preparing and finalizing guest bills, ensuring all accounts are accurate and up-to-date.
- Running nightly audits and backing up systems to ensure all financial transactions are correctly accounted for.
- Completing end-of-day activities, such as posting charges, running night audit back-ups, and rolling over the date.
- Preparing daily reports, including room rate variance and breakfast reports.
- Checking and rectifying any discrepancies in room accounts.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience as a Night Auditor in a 4-5* hotel, preferably within the Marriott brand.
- Proficiency in the Opera system.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends as required by business needs.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a proactive, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented approach.
- Strong management and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Solutions-oriented with a positive attitude.
