Helpmates is seeking a Manufacturing Associate in the city of Cerritos.This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to quality in a fast-paced production environment.Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20/hr.Job Responsibilities:
- Perform quality tasks in a production setting
- Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals (SQDC)
- Adapt to and promote changes in processes and workflows
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Operate a microscope proficiently
- Demonstrate dependability and the ability to work independently
- Maintain flexibility with work assignments as needed
- Approach challenges with a positive and solution-oriented mindset
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Use and interpret various measuring devices accurately
- Perform basic soldering tasks when required
- Follow established procedures and processes precisely
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Soldering experience preferred
- Ability to learn, apply, and retain training
- Strong analytical and quality evaluation skills
- Positive attitude and commitment to company values
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and collaborate in a team environment
- Strong attention to quality and detail
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Basic math skills (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to follow company procedures and troubleshoot issues
Education & Experience
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent manufacturing experience
