As the OEM Account Manager – South UK, you will be passionate about growing, developing and nurturing customer retention and boosting incremental growth through new business acquisition. You will sell a range of Videojet coding and marking equipment to our OEM accounts which includes industrial small character inkjet, high resolution case printing, labelling systems and Thermal Inkjet, and Laser solutions. You will commercialise these in combination with service and maintenance contracts.

As this role covers the South of the UK (Midlands and below) you can be based anywhere within this region. This is a field-based role, which is fully remote, with an expectation to be out visiting customers up to 4 days a week.
In this role, you will:

Business development and acquisition of new customers through partnering with our Marketing organisation

Build relationships at all levels including C-suite of a selection of global key accounts, distributors, etc.

Manage sales activity through Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) using our corporate CRM (SalesForce.com)

Participate to regional/national trade shows and coordinate equipment demonstrations at customers’ sites
The essential requirements of the job include:
-
Strong sales performance, from both winning new business as well as managing existing customers. Ideally with experience in Multinational Corporations selling into FMCG/manufacturing environments (i.e. food & beverages packaging, automation equipment etc)

Skilled in identifying systemic business issues and problem solving

Ability to successfully deliver results while quickly adapting to changing priorities, unforeseen challenges whilst balancing risk

Knowledge of a CRM (preferably SFDC would be advantageous)

Technical understanding of manufacturing automation (i.e. packaging machinery etc) or a mechanical/electrical engineering background would be useful but isn’t critical as training can be provided
