Your new role

  • We are looking for an Office Manager to join our team!
  • This is a 9-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
  • This position is critical in ensuring all RoslinCT sites run smoothly and supports the overall productivity and satisfaction of our people.
  • Your responsibilities will include:
  • Management of a small team of administrators.
  • Organise office operations and procedures.
  • Maintain office supplies within budget.
  • Liaise with other agencies, organisations, and groups in a professional manner.
  • Ensure all incoming company correspondence (telephone calls, letters, emails) are processed correctly.
  • Organise and arrange catering for meetings and conferences.
  • Book travel and accommodation.
  • Ensure office spaces meet the requirements of the company’s Health and Safety policies and report any concerns to the relevant person.
  • Support with and organise company social activities.

About you

  • Experience in working in administration and general office responsibilities.
  • Experience of supervising a small team.
  • Exceptional organisation and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a desire to continually develop and improve our processes.
  • Possess analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Reliable with a discrete attitude to the work involved.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office with excellent typing skills.
  • Capable of representing the company when dealing with suppliers and clients.
  • The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Able to work to deadline and be fluid in completing tasks.
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility and enthusiasm.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence.
