• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and Finance Subject Matter Experts to identify data needs and solutions that drive informed decision-making, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s goals and values of integrity and creativity.

• Develop and implement rigorous data analysis methodologies to validate accuracy and analyse trends, supporting the development of evidence-based strategies that improve our capacity to deliver impactful services to children.

• Create comprehensive reports and visualisations, conveying complex data insights in a clear, concise manner to diverse audiences, upholding our commitment to transparency and accountability.

• Champion data-driven culture within the organisation by guiding and educating team members on best practices in data analysis and ensuring adherence to data governance standards.

• Uphold the principles of diversity and inclusivity by proactively identifying and addressing potential biases in data collection and analysis, ensuring equity in all data-driven decision processes.

• Engage with the broader Save the Children community to foster a culture of collaboration, actively seeking and integrating feedback to refine data processes and enhance the effectiveness of the organisation’s transformative initiatives.

Education and QualificationsEssential

• Knowledge of Non-profit and Humanitarian Sector operations and challenges would be beneficial, focusing on transparency, integrity, and advocacy efforts in data utilisation.

• A foundation of experience in Data Analysis and Visualisation Tools, such as Excel. Tableau, Power BI, D3.js, or similar platforms.

• Experience in fostering a Data-Driven Culture among diverse teams, encouraging engagement through teaching best practices and upholding equity and diversity in data processes.

• Demonstrable experience in engaging with Cross-Functional Teams and integrating stakeholder feedback to refine data methodologies and outputs.

Desirable

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

• Certification in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or Project Management from recognized bodies or institutions is advantageous.

• Proficient experience in developing and interpreting Complex Data Insights to inform strategic decisions within an organisational framework that champions equity and inclusion
