Manheim Vehicle Services is an evolving business supporting customer de-fleet, multiple remarketing channels and a complete range of vehicle preparation services including wholesale and retail ready. This requires an agile and responsive support function able to manage a variation of customer requirements. As we develop the range of services delivered and expand our customer base, the support team need to ensure we deliver these services within SLA and to a very high standard.Team members are responsible for ensuring all customer defined requirements are delivered ensuring operational and customer service excellences are met at all times.Scope of Role:
To be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of vehicles whilst on-site, and any other activity reasonably required depending on the specific customer defined processes and procedures, adhering to HSE requirements at all times.Key objectives and deliverables. This role is accountable for:

  • To drive in a correct and professional manner in line with site rules and HSE requirements and treat all vehicles with respect
  • To carry out any other ad hoc duties as required ensuring the smooth running of administration and inventory processes.
  • To assist in the manoeuvring of vehicles in order to provide a tidy and orderly appearance in the Yard
  • To observe all health and safety rules and take all reasonable care to promote the health and safety at work for others.
  • To support/operate the stock check and reconciliation process
  • To ensure you have full and compliant understanding of the “gating in” process
  • To ensure you have full and compliant understanding of “Pre Inspection”
  • To ensure you have full and compliant understanding of operating “360 imagery booths”
  • To ensure you conduct yourself in calm and courteous manner whilst dealing with customers and team members.
  • To drive any vehicles as instructed by your line manager for which you are licenced to drive.
  • To ensure Quality Control checks are carried out in managed time frame.

Specific skills, knowledge and experience required to be able to successfully deliver the role:

  • Must have strong communication skills, communicating effectively with colleagues and giving clear instructions where appropriate.
  • The ability to drive a variety of vehicles with all types of ignition procedures and transmissions
  • Able to demonstrate good time management with the ability to prioritise the workload and work to deadlines.
  • Able to cope well under pressure in a very busy atmosphere whilst ensuring attention to detail is maintained at all times.
  • Compliant with use of handheld and tablet technology.
  • Computer Literate, compliant understanding of CAMS.
  • To have a basic knowledge of HSE legislation.
