The business is growing and internationalising rapidly, particularly experiencing growth in the US across both D2C and wholesale channels.In the role of Operations Executive you will help ensure that Papier’s supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently to support the business’s growth plans. As part of the wider Operations team, you will be the key coordinator between our Commercial Planning, Sourcing and Operational teams, suppliers, freight forwarders and 3 rd party providers. You’ll be a great communicator, detail orientated and driven to ensure accuracy and efficiency across the business. You will be responsible for ensuring all suppliers and 3 rd party providers have efficient processes and procedures in place to make sure stock on system is accurate and well managed at all times. In addition stock management within the company ERP (Netsuite) is well maintained and up to date. The arranging and management of freight movements and freight forwarders are the responsibility of the Operations Executive, arranging, managing and monitoring shipments and supporting with the approval flows associated with freight PO’s cross departmentally.This role is paying a salary of £30,000 per annum.Main Areas of Responsibility

  • Manage the logistics of freight movement between our suppliers and global 3 rd parties ensuring costs are at market rate, are booked and moved swiftly and efficiently with all necessary paperwork and compliance in place.
  • Ensure clearance of goods (procedures and paperwork) is well managed and Papier are responsive to requests
  • Work with Papier’s 3rd party providers (printers and fulfilment centres), coordinating transport of inbound & outbound stock movements, approving invoices and building relationships to support improved processes and efficient freight of goods.
  • Monitor inventory levels at 3rd party providers, reviewing inventory challenges and maintaining stock levels by location within Papier’s ERP.
  • Update the business on transit/PO delays or potential stock issues associated with damages or losses.
  • Utilize and analyse company reporting to manage and improve visibility of stock holding by location, better utilise Papiers ERP system or support with freight monitoring and management.

Requirements

  • Understand the associated logistics of moving global freight and further understand
  • customs paperwork requirements, provision and resolution.
  • Experience of managing stock on system across multiple stock locations globally.
  • Great communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • A logical thinker, who is resolution focused.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Excellent excel skill and ability to analyse complex data.
