As we continue to strengthen our operations, we are actively recruiting for an Operations Manager to join us in our Hinkley Point site. Responsible for delivering operational excellence, if you have experience within managing a team of people in a similar environment, strong people skills and a passion for delivery of exceptional service – then this could be the next role for you.What will you do?
- You will ensure operating metrics within the distribution centre are delivered, including jobs for vehicles, stock levels, customer deliveries and collections
- You will ensure your centre costs are managed to budget, activity levels are planned and scheduled, training is in place for colleagues, safety is paramount and that teamwork and collaboration is promoted across all levels
- You will coordinate the management of the hire desk and wider team
- You will lead, coach and continue to motivate a team of colleagues developing a culture of operational excellence
- You’ll also develop relationships with a number of key customers

- Operational experience in a fast paced environment
- Effective at building long lasting relationships with our customers
- Great people management skills, leading teams and developing talent
- Financial understanding and cost management experience
- Experience working towards KPI reports
