Most importantly, Le Wagon is a community of 26,000+ graduates from all walks of life, including career changers, digital nomads and many entrepreneurs – who’ve created 220+ tech startups and raised $1B+ and counting!Le Wagon is now looking for their new Operations Manager (known as a City Manager) to lead our bootcamp operations and have a business development mindset in order to deploy innovative outreach projects in line with our business opportunities.By joining the Regional City Operations team, you will be a key point of contact, liaising with students, hiring partners, and running our events such as Demo Days.Your Mission:Grow the Business and the communityDefine the general business strategy for the campus in line with the global and regional vision of the company.Proactively identify growth levers and implement an action plan to activate them.Form strategic partnerships with a clear added value (e.g funding, hiring partners and B2G ‘Business to Government’).Manage the local P&L, ensuring clear objectives and communicating updates to the General Manager.Customize Sales Strategies and Outreach Initiatives for attracting & enrolling new studentsLiven-up the community through regular events and workshops to raise awarness about Le Wagon locallyLead the TeamSet ambitious but achievable OKRs with the local team and General Manager.Conduct performance reviews with each team member to reflect and agree on OKRs.Empower the local Event & Marketing Manager and Project Manager and work closely with regional and global teams such as Sales & Admissions, Marketing, Finance and Outcomes to provide students with the world’s best learning experience and support our growth.Lead relevant team meetings to enable a smooth and efficient collaboration.Prepare and conduct the onboarding and training of new team members.Lead Bootcamp operations for all batches (student intakes)Secure a strong teaching staff for upcoming batches at least 3 months ahead of the start date and liven-up the communityKick-off Bootcamps via a welcome session to introduce the team and share key info.Oversee the running of Demo Day with Teachers, Batch Managers and Events & Marketing Manager.Manage the freelance teachers and teachers assistants team.Own the financial reporting for campus-related costsReview and approve teaching invoices.Monitor and grow financial margins across all programs.Brief all freelance teachers on invoicing processes, tools, and best practices.Achieve sales targets and revenue goals according to KPIsProfil recherchéThis is the role for you if:You live in Nantes (or surrounding area) and are open to being on-site daily!You are fluent in French and English, with excellent written & verbal communicationYou have 3-4 years of experience in business development and have a strong command of key operations management principles in a fast-paced environment.You are entrepreneurial, highly collaborative, and above all, empatheticYou have strong project management skills and a real drive for results, with the ability to manage independently and take calculated risks.You can work strategically while also being hands-on to make sure our day-to-day support for students is at the top of the agenda.You have previous experience managing multi-disciplinary teams using various tools, both online and offline.You are highly structured, flexible and have the ability to work to tight deadlines to provide practical solutions.You enjoy working autonomously and are a lifelong learnerWhat’s in it for you?Join a fast-growing global company with a truly international mindsetLearn about tech every day and grow in one of the industries of the future: EdTechCool campus at the heart of Nantes and management of your own meeting agenda
