Alongside your role, you will undertake an 18-month Red Team L&D programme, giving you access to learning materials, training and experts to help you to set up your own career adventure.The concept of ‘career adventuring’ is founded on developing your skills and providing you with the necessary tools, coupled with your own personal resilience and attitude to work. This approach is at the heart of the Pioneer programme vision, and both your venture and the Red Team are committed to working with you to help you excel.Duties:

  • Identify areas for improvement across the business and provide effective solutions – scope and support projects to improve business performance, working with a range of teams across the business.
  • Be the ‘product owner’ for key systems and processes, ensuring the wider team has the right tools to achieve their objectives.
  • Support and develop supplier and internal relationships, while rolling up your sleeves and doing whatever is required to achieve the goals.
  • Support on projects to help improve performance in Imperial’s ‘I-HUB’ building (which is 2 mins North of Scale Space White City and an extension of the Scale Space community)
  • Take part in a variety of informal learning and networking events, which brings groups of people working in the same field together across our ventures, charities and other external organisations.
  • Attend additional learning and development programmes, managed and run by Blenheim Chalcot centrally.
  • This is a key role with high impact and high visibility across the team, and we would expect the successful candidate to have potential to sit within the SLT (senior leadership team) within 3-5 years – or alternatively secure an exciting role within one of the other fast growth portfolio businesses.

The process:We have a rigorous recruitment process which we use for all our roles to ensure we attract the very best and diverse talent.This will involve an initial telephone conversation, followed by a panel interview and a case study where you will meet with that businesses management team and the Chief Operating team over 2 stages.
