Here is the information you need to know to apply.About the role:Valtech has been rolling out Oracle Cloud Financials to our finance teams across the globe and we are now looking for a Lead Support Analyst (all genders).You will be providing support internationally on all the modules we use today, including GL, AP, AR, CM, FA, TAX, SLA.A well as supporting our finance users, you will be the first point of contact for the master data maintenance teams for issues with master data or integrations.A day in the life of an Oracle Lead Support Analyst (all genders):As the Lead Support Analyst (all genders) for Oracle Cloud Financials, you are responsible for leading cross-functional/technical issue resolution and coordination with the Oracle Project Team, Internal Control Team, escalating as necessary, to deliver quality service to our local business users. You will:

  • Be the senior member of the Oracle Support Team and will need to be experienced in managing a support team.
  • Organise support meetings with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure ongoing support issues or escalations are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Provide support, from analysis to resolution, for tickets of “higher” priority.
  • Interact/communicate with internal business users regularly/timely to build relationships and ensure user satisfaction through quality & service value.
  • Work collaboratively with the Business Analyst Team and Stakeholders (Business Users, Finance Leadership Teams, Internal Control Team) to understand the current applications in place, ensure support activities meet the SLA’s, identify inefficiencies and opportunities for support and service improvements over time.
  • Assist with system integrations
  • Assist with data migration
  • Assist with Hypercare (post go-live support)
  • Lead the quarterly Oracle Non-Regression Testing for any new release upgrade.

Our preferred candidate:

  • Has led Oracle ERP Production Support for a large enterprise for over 3+ years, preferably in an international environment, in a Shared Service Center. Works independently but is also able to manage and mentor a small team.
  • Is versed in Oracle Financials Cloud Modules: GL, AP, AR, CM, FA, TAX, SLA. Techno-functional knowledge preferred. Nice to be able to write side sql queries to help analyze issues as needed.
  • Is well experienced in production support modalities: ticket triage, day-to-day activity monitoring, ticket priorities, assignment, and resolution.
  • Is versed with SLA’s, metrics, stakeholder management, global practice and has strong English communication skills.
  • Has a customer service mindset with strong interpersonal skills to develop a rapport and credibility with users with a variety of roles and seniority.
  • Has good analytical and problem-solving abilities and is keen to learn new systems and be able to pick up new concepts quickly.
  • Is open to travel a few times per year, for the purposes of this position.
