Outbound Calling Customer Service Representative in Gardena, California

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Outbound Calling Customer Service Representative in the healthcare and social assistance industry, located in Gardena, California. This role involves maintaining customer accounts, processing applications, and handling customer inquiries primarily through outbound calls.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule chart retrieval after confirming provider information

• Contact providers to verify the availability of medical charts and subsequently schedule retrieval

• Ensure the successful return of medical charts by monitoring the retrieval process

• Handle any inbound calls that might be directed back to you

• Follow up on leads and other phone numbers to schedule medical record retrieval

• Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Conduct research as needed to support the outbound calling tasks

• Utilize skills in Salesforce Administration, Data Entry, Email Correspondence, and Call Center Customer Service to effectively perform job duties. Requirements • Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls in a customer service setting, preferably within the healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance industry

• Demonstrated experience in call center customer service roles

• Strong customer service skills, with a focus on providing exceptional care and service to all customers

• Proficiency in data entry tasks, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Experience in managing email correspondence in a professional setting

• Ability to schedule appointments accurately and efficiently, ensuring a smooth flow of operations

• Experience in using Salesforce for administrative tasks and customer management

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on clarity and brevity

• Must adhere to all industry regulations and guidelines in relation to customer service and privacy

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging customer service situations with professionalism and patience.
