  • Self-starter with ability to confidently and effectively influence stakeholders
  • Critical thinking and experience with data analysis with ability to draw out key insights
  • 2-3 years experience in service / vendor management or risk & control role in the context of outsourcing (internal or external)Â

  • Understanding of the financial services sector and key business segments
  • Experience of regulatory compliance, preferably in the financial services sector
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.The location of this role is based in Glasgow Campus, United KingdomPurpose of the roleTo manage and implement the service management framework for internal service provision including management of contractual documentation, service change governance and performance reporting, collaborating with business stakeholders and facilitating a consistent and efficient approach across all global Service Management offices.Accountabilities

  • Management, oversight and implementation of the service management framework for internal service provision.
  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to ensure adherence internal service management processes.
  • Management of internal service change governance processes including oversight and maintenance of contractual agreements for internal service provisioning and oversight of BX hierarchy alignment.
  • Development of reports and insights on internal service management performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve internal service management efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identification of areas for improvement to continually evolve internal service management through process improvement and automation, and work with business stakeholders to implement changes.

  • Consult on complex issues; providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
  • Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas, which requires understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function.
  • Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.
  • Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas, teams, companies, etc).to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Communicate complex information. ‘Complex’ information could include sensitive information or information that is difficult to communicate because of its content or its audience.
  • Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
