If that is your thing, then pladis offers global ambition, a clear Vision and roadmap for success, challenge, and unrivalled opportunities to learn and make an impactClick “Apply” to get started.You will be required to stand in as a Checkweigh & Inspection Person as and when required.What will this role achieve?We are looking for a Packer / Stand-In Checkweigh / Inspection person for a permanent position in Assortment’s working day shift.​What will be your key deliverables?You will need to work effectively with other team members in the department as well as the Data Contact on your line and also Advanced Team Members.You will pack biscuits using both hands on a production line.You may need to work in the Co-Pack area.​You will be working on different lines with the department.​Manually pack products within specifications (includes bending, lifting, stretching)Visually check for foreign matter / hazardsEnsure quality of biscuits being packed is within product specificationsEnsure adherence to all quality and safety standards.Work to a high standard, enabling plants to achieve planned output.Ensure housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained.When standing in as a Checkweigh & Inspection Person you will be inspecting the products that come by, filling in missing biscuits, manually weighing products and filling in relevant paperwork.Bring your experienceEssentialManufacturing packing experience​Checkweigh & Inspection experience on a production line.Good at working with other peopleBasic numerical and literacy knowledgeManual dexterityBasic communication skillsSupportive within the team.Be able to multi-task.Shift PatternGreen/Yellow/Red Period – Dayshift, 37 hours per weekGreen Period – Monday to Thursday, 08:00-17:15Yellow Period – Monday to Thursday, 08:00-17:15 and Friday 07:00 – 13:00Red period – Monday to Friday, 07:45 – 17:15 and Friday, 07:00 -15:00Our PurposeBring happiness with every biteIt’s a purpose that every one of our colleagues, all around the world believes in.
