The RolePaid Media Manager at SO ENERGYThe Paid Media Manager will develop and implement advertising campaigns to drive awareness, consideration and new customer acquisition.The role will involve working with our media and creative agencies to oversee effective campaigns that deliver against long-term and short-term objectives. This will require an understanding of consumer behaviour, multichannel campaign planning, media and creative best practice and advertising measurement and effectiveness.Reporting into Lou Cannon, Marketing Manager.Who will you be working with?This role will work closely with media and creative agencies as well as key advertising platforms and publishers. In addition, it requires close collaboration with colleagues across our Marketing, Finance, Data, Product and Trading teams.What you’ll be getting up to:

  • Develop So Energy’s advertising strategy to deliver an uplift in brand awareness, consideration, leads and sales.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of advertising campaigns, ensuring clear goals and measurable outcomes.
  • Use consumer and market insight to identify target audiences and the messaging, creative and channel mix to motivate them.
  • Work with creative agencies to develop distinctive advertising that elevates the brand and stands out from the competition.
  • Work with media agencies to diversify our media mix and ensure an effective blend of digital and traditional channels.
  • Recommend campaign and channel budgets to deliver our goals, taking responsibility for effective budget allocation.
  • Establish a measurement framework and insightful and actionable performance reporting.
  • Develop a testing strategy to build a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless integrated campaigns across earned, owned and paid media.
  • Proactively update business leaders on campaign goals, timelines, results and learnings.
  • Support So Energy’s wider brand, acquisition and retention efforts as required.

What are we looking for?

  • Paid media specialist with proven experience of managing multichannel advertising campaigns with agencies.
  • Experience of increasing brand awareness through effective creative campaigns, using data to demonstrate impact.
  • Experience of driving sales and revenue growth and consistently delivering against commercial targets.
  • Energy sector experience is ideal, but not essential.
  • Hands-on experience managing digital advertising platforms including paid search and paid social is a bonus
  • London, Hybrid.
  • Office based approx. 2 days a week
