Role: Paid Social Media Specialist
Reports to: Sr. Manager, Social Strategy
Location: TorontoTHE OPPORTUNITYWe’re MiQ, a programmatic media partner for marketers and agencies. We connect the right people, industry partnerships, and technology in a complete programmatic stack so we can solve precise business challenges.As a key member of our growing team, you will be responsible for set-up and monitoring of MiQ paid social campaigns. You will have the opportunity to learn about our business and develop a strong understanding of the programmatic landscape by working cross-functionally with colleagues from different departments and client groups.This is a 6 months, paid, full-time opportunity that might be converted to a permanent role later this year.WHO YOU AREAt MiQ, we firmly believe that our values bring us together. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Execute paid social campaigns to help achieve overall marketing goals and objectives (primarily Facebook and Instagram)
  • Monitor paid social campaigns for accuracy and efficiency (including budgets)
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively with internal team members and clients
  • Review and manage data for client reports; identify trends and insights
  • Optimize social media campaigns to ensure client KPI’s are exceeded
  • Maintain a collaborative and cooperative work environment
  • Participate in development of trends reports, social platform updates for clients

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in an advertising agency environment
  • Experience executing paid social campaigns
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience working in client-facing environment would be an advantage
  • Strong Excel skills
  • A start-up mind-set
  • Passionate about learning in an emerging field of advertising
  • Technically and analytically astute
  • Strong troubleshooting ability, clear systematic approach to problem solving
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to work both independently and contribute within a team environment
