Capabilities include Laser/Flame Cut, CNC Machining, Bending & Rolling, Welding & Fabrication, Assembly, and Paint. Responsibilities:The Painter position is responsible for set up, clean up, and operation of painting equipment, proficient quality finishes, and visually inspecting parts to ensure they meet all required specifications.
- Prep, clean, grind, sand and fill steel, stainless steel, and aluminum products.
- Mixing, matching, and applying paint to various surfaces, completing touch-ups, and coordinating large painting projects.
- Moving parts with low bar through the process.
- Maintains paint and coating supplies.
- Adjusts sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray to accomplish desired finish.
- Fixing and re-painting when required.
- Follows all plant safety guidelines, practices, and procedures. Also, be aware of activity in the work surroundings and maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Properly use personal protective equipment when required.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years experience as a painter or similar role.
- Intermediate experience and knowledge of blueprint reading.
- Experience with forklifts and overhead crane preferred.
- Ability to work within a team environment and communicate effectively with others.
- Ability to inspect parts with a high level of detail for material defects and any quality issues.
- Ability to repetitively lift 25-50 lbs.
