It was 30 years ago when we were a small maintenance contractor with a single van; and it still is now we are a truly national company”.About the Role:As a Painter & Decorator you will be working with Hammermsith & Fulham Borough council providing a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community.You will be part of a local team undertaking high standard reactive repairs, PPM and refurbishment activities to Housing properties, delivering best in class customer service, and satisfying all safety, quality and cost control standards.

• Take ownership in undertaking construction, fault finding and maintenance repairs relevant to your trade aiming for a first time completion
• Confident in undertaking general Painter & Decorating duties e.g. painting over plastering, stain blocking, basic mould treatment, remove and replacing wallpaper
• Confident in using a PDA (after initial training provided)
• Ensure the customer experience is central to all activities by adopting a professional manner when communicating with service users

Role Criteria:

• Experience in a Painting & Decorating Trade environment
• Full UK manual Driving License
• Must provide your own hand & powered tools – any consumable items will be provided
• Be a great team player as well an ability to work on your own initiative
• Excellent communication and Customer service skills
• Experience in a social housing environment is not essential but highly desirable
• Exposure in multiple trades is also not essential but would be considered highly advantageous
