As part of our team, you can explore what motivates and energizes your career goals: partnering with our customers, our communities, and each other.Job DescriptionWe are now looking to recruit a Partner Relationship Incubation Manager to focus on managing new partnerships within the UK & Ireland Market.About the Partnership team and this role:The UK SMB team is responsible for growing sales and strategic partnerships. Currently our team works with ISO (independent sales organisations) and referral partnerships, such as financial institutions, associations, and business to business partnerships. Our partnerships build full payment solutions which leverage both Elavon’s and our partners solutions to create a single ‘One-Elavon’ proposition for merchants.We have the fantastic support of our Technical Consultants to collaborate with, however it would be extremely helpful to have an understanding of the technical ecosystems within the payments market. The role will require a good knowledge of partnership distribution models (referral, ISO & ISV).Key Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be responsible for embedding new partners to Elavon as well as developing existing partnerships within the UK & Ireland Market. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Working with Partner BD teams to onboard partners in line with SLA’s, as well as continually evolving this process with stakeholders across Elavon to develop a best in class partner boarding journey.Provide business consulting in early set up to ensure partners understands all processes, the required quality of applications/referrals and are operating in line with expectationsWork with Elavon colleagues to provide any follow up training or overviews of processes that are driving inconsistencies in partner referrals and applications (e.g. credit & risk, boarding, operations, pricing)Complete business development partner plan to expand Elavon share of wallet within the partner and/or grow our mutual business.Operate a strong consultative and analytical approach to maximize the complete range of revenue opportunities within each of your assigned partnersAgree and set clear expectations and commercial objectives (short-and long-term) with partners in your portfolio, with milestone delivery dates and longer term growth modelling to hand over to relationship management team after 12 monthsExplore incremental revenue opportunities above the forecasted performance given at point of partner intake to ElavonReview and ensure all commercial terms agreed by partner are implemented accurately and are aligned to expected commercial outputs, balancing the needs of Elavon, our partners and merchantsMaintaining a high awareness and knowledge of Payment Card Industry, competitors and internal activities to ensure that all business opportunities are identified, considered and closed appropriatelyEnsuring partners achieve agreed annual, quarterly, and monthly sales objectivesHold quarterly business review meetings (QBR’s) with all partners to review performance and drive strategic objectivesKnowledge / Skills / Experience required:Demonstrable experience of achievement against target in a role that is focused on new business acquisition.Previous success in negotiating and managing partnerships within the payment marketPrevious success in negotiating and managing commercial models ( e.g. revenue share, buy rate/sell rate, margin management models)Broad commercial and financial acumen and awareness of issues involved in negotiating commercial models, contracts and has ability to negotiate logically and constructivelyProven ability to develop and maintain an effective network of contacts and build relationships at all levels, internally and externally5 years+ experience in a payments role including acquiring, partnerships, payment gateway and/or POS solutionsExperience in launching new partnerships in collaboration with product and marketing teamsAbility to establish and maintain strong relationshipsStrong understanding of all products and services in UKI payments industryAdvanced knowledge of applicable policies and proceduresStrong organizational, communication and negotiation skillsPerson Specification:Highly motivated individual contributorExcellent communication/relationship management and negotiation skillsAn aptitude to detect gaps, analyse and propose solutionsEffective time management skills and ability to multi-taskStrong presentation skills with experience speaking at events an advantageWillingness to travelExperienced to pitch to senior stakeholders in large organizationsLocation/Mobility considerations:Home based with ability to travel to meet perspective UK based clients regularly.Remote + Hybrid/flexible schedule:The role is posted as remote; however, candidates who are located near any one of our locations would be required to work on site at least three days per week.If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our .Benefits:We offer an exciting, fast-paced and diverse working environment with employees of many different nationalities.
