This role offers flexibility with potential locations in New York, Houston, Philadelphia, or Washington, D.C. If you’re ready to make an impact in a forward-thinking practice, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities of the Patent Agent will include:

• Draft and prosecute patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
• Support due diligence efforts related to patent matters.
• Manage and prioritize assignments from multiple partners and clients to meet internal and client-driven deadlines.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Other duties as assigned

Job RequirementsQualifications of the Patent Agent:

• Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Polymer Science, Polymer Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and Patent Bar eligible; licensed to practice law in the respective state if applicable.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
