- Role: Payroll Assistant
- Locations: Offices including Glasgow, Aberdeen, Manchester, and London. The role can be based in any of the above locations.

Your RoleTo support our continuous growth, we are looking for a highly motivated Payroll Assistant to enhance our finance team and support the business as integration in to Telefonica Tech UK&I ramps up.Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the preparation and processing of the monthly payroll for all employees.
- Processing updates to the payroll including joiners, leavers, salary changes etc.
- Work closely with the People Team to ensure payroll records are accurate and up to date.
- Handling payroll related queries from employees.
- Ensuring contractor invoices are accurately reconciled to timesheets.
- Reviewing and verifying employee expense claims, ensuring these are processed accurately and in accordance with company policy.
QualificationsDesired Skills and Experience:We’re seeking a passionate team player with the following qualifications:
- Experience of working in a payroll function or similar role.
- Ability to manage personal workload, as well as an excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to clearly articulate a message to a range of stakeholders in the business.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle changing workload priorities
- Experience working with payroll software (Sage Payroll preferred).
