Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in the industry, based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. You will be a crucial part of our team, primarily responsible for processing weekly and bi-weekly payroll for both hourly and salaried employees. The role involves maintaining accurate records, attending to customer inquiries and troubleshooting issues related to payroll deductions.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for both hourly and salaried employees

• Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage and maintain employee records

• Regularly monitor and update customer accounts as necessary

• Efficiently handle customer inquiries related to payroll

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to payroll deductions

• Collaboratively work with other teams utilizing Microsoft Teams

• Maintain accurate credit records of customers

• Process customer credit applications with efficiency and accuracy

• Utilize strong Excel skills to manage and analyze data

• Handle the payroll processing for multiple companies. Requirements • Proficiency in Automated Payroll systems

• Experience with bi-Monthly Payroll processing

• Knowledge of Full Cycle Payroll procedures

• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now

• Strong numerical and analytical skills

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle pressure

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience

• Certification as a Payroll Professional (CPP) would be advantageous.
