The role

  • Develop and maintain a suite of standard, self-service reports, and dashboards in line with the needs of the business, optimizing SuccessFactors and other reporting software (i.e. Power BI).
  • Maintain strong governance principles on people insights processes and ensure a clear and consistent approach on managing roles and permissions in a compliant manner. Perform regular reviews and follow best practice.
  • Perform the analysis of complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive decision-making. This includes applying statistical techniques, data transformations, and predictive modelling to extract valuable insights and present them in a clear and meaningful way.
  • Design and deliver reports, dashboards, and visualizations that effectively communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders and drive operational HR processes. Selecting appropriate tools and technologies, creating user-friendly interfaces, and ensuring the information presented is accurate and actionable.
  • Deliver reporting requests on an ad-hoc basis depending on business requirements and priorities.
  • Support the enablement of self-service and digital adoption of Success Factors operational reporting and People Insights from BI solutions.
  • Deliver regulatory HR reporting in relation to internal and external audits and local legislation requirements.
  • Focus on capturing Data Quality issues and design monitoring mechanisms to shift to a proactive approach that enables stakeholders to improve system data through actionable analytics. Plan and deliver regular data Quality reviews whilst engaging stakeholders on clarifying ownership and taking action to improve data quality.

What you bring

  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent), minimum graduate level
  • Expert knowledge and experience (3+ years) of Power BI desktop for development and Power BI Service for sharing insights. Including M language, DAX, Query editor, Dataflows, Row level security, report sharing and modelling
  • Experienced (3+ years) with HR systems and methods for collecting, exporting, and analyzing HR data. Expertise in Success Factors Advanced Reporting and Report Stories
  • Advanced MS Excel user with proven experience (3+ years) analyzing data using advanced formulas and complex modelling.
  • Advanced user of MS online platforms and products with experience in SharePoint files and lists, Power Automate (Flows) and SharePoint Forms
  • The ability to present and explain complex information in a simple and clear way, ensuring insight is impactful and delivers a compelling story.
  • Strong analytical thinking ability and stakeholder management skills to quickly and effectively assimilate detailed and complex information to support business decisions.
  • Experience of stored procedures, functions and ETL, involving data I/O from varied sources and desirable experience in SQL and Azure Data Warehouse
  • Ability to understand assimilate and assess complex and ambiguous scenarios/requests, perform feasibility assessments including time to deliver recommended solutions.
  • Understanding of strategic workforce planning
  • Understanding of Agile project management methodologies and practices
