As a crucial member of our team, you’ll work closely with our VP of Operations to deliver on the full spectrum of our people and talent strategy. This role offers a thrilling blend of responsibilities, with approximately 60% focused on talent acquisition and 40% on broader people operations. You’ll play a vital part in designing and implementing the talent strategy that will define our culture and drive us toward our ambitious vision.Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition (60%):

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, with a focus on tech roles (software engineers, data scientists, etc.).
  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent in the tech industry.
  • Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience from application to onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs and ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process.
  • Utilise data-driven insights to continuously improve our recruitment process and reduce time-to-hire.

People Operations (40%):

  • Support the development and implementation of people-focused initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and development.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR-related matters, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our people processes, including performance management, employee onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Assist in fostering a positive and inclusive company culture that aligns with our values and mission.
  • Work closely with the VP of Operations to identify and address people-related challenges and opportunities.
  • Design and deliver training programs for new hiring managers and people managers, equipping them with the skills to succeed.

About You

  • Hands-on experience in a similar role within a startup environment, with a proven ability to make a significant impact on people and talent functions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • You excel at managing multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • You have strong skills in stakeholder management, with the ability to build relationships, manage expectations, and navigate complex organisational dynamics.
  • Expertise in handling complex, sensitive situations with confidentiality and sound judgment.

  • £50,000 – £55,000 annual salary based on skills and experience
