People Consultant – 12m FTC

Are you looking to develop your career within a dynamic People team? evoke are looking for the right person join a fast paced and supportive team as a People Consultant. This is an exciting 12 mth FTC opportunity reporting to the Head of People. You’ll get to develop and implement HR processes and work in collaboration with HR teams to share and gather best practice. If you are process driven and are passionate about building trusting relationships then this role may be for you!

What you will be doing 

  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders in the business areas you support and the wider People team
  • Help to deliver key People initiatives by working in collaboration with the Centres of excellence
  • Analyse and review People management information and people analysis to identify opportunities and provide interventions to improve People Kpi’s and employee experience
  • Provide expert People advice, guidance and coaching to managers on HR matters, supporting managers in dealing with complex employee relation issues in conjunction with the GO2 ER Team
  • Focus on continuous self development, keeping up to date with business changes and trends in HR
  • Support the delivery of the People calendar of events ie performance management cycle, salary and bonus planning and engagement surveys
  • Work with leadership and recruitment teams to support an effective and efficient talent acquisition, onboarding and induction process

  • Relevant People experience such as a generalist or specialist gained in a large complex organisation
  • Knowledge of employment law and current thinking in Human Resources issues and trends with evidence of continuing professional development
  • Ability to communicate effectively and influence and variety of stakeholders and present sound and well reasoned arguments to convince others in written or verbal format
  • Able to take the initiative and drive action, prioritise workloads and adapt to a variety of situations
