A bit about the Department: The Regional People Development Team sits within the Regional People & Culture team and aims to improve the knowledge and skills of TFSEAR employees and encourage a learning mindset, so employees can perform their roles effectively, excel in their career and drive the business forward. Most of the regional People & Culture team is based in the UK. There may on occasions be opportunities to travel.What you’ll be doing:

  • Administer regional learning and development programmes (face-to-face and virtual classrooms) and training demand for the Europe and Africa Region (EAR)
  • Coordinate the annual EAR People & Culture Conference and Toyota Way of Working (TWoW) related events
  • User management of the on-demand learning offer: Learning Management System & LinkedIn Learning
  • Maintain accurate training records
  • Act as the main point of contact for the regional performance management system
  • Utilise data analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes
  • Support the delivery & analysis of our annual talent tracking initiatives: Career Evolution & Global Career Development Forms
  • Handle accounts receivable, recharges and ensure timely payment of invoices
  • Serve as the point of contact for L&D general queries from internal and external customers.

  • Making recommendations for continuous improvement of training programmes & internal processes
  • Becoming a Toyota Way of Working (TWoW) ambassador
  • Hosting virtual classrooms and webinars
  • Maintaining and contributing content to the People Development pages of the regional intranet
  • Design and development of learning and development resources
  • Contribute towards the strategic direction of the People Development function.

What you’ll get to own:

  • The end-to-end training demand process, administration of the regional learning and development programmes and autonomy to suggest and propose process improvements
  • The user experience across course enrolment, learner management systems and customer support
  • Ensuring all course materials and resources are up-to-date, accessible to staff & reflective of the courses available
  • Collation and analysis of regional development training data
  • Administration of the training budget

Key Experience and Skills:

  • Good organisational skills and able to work accurately within a to agreed timescales
  • Able to manage competing priorities under pressure
  • Able to communicate effectively, in writing, face-to-face and over the telephone with employees and suppliers where English is not their first language
  • Good attention to detail and ability to probe and check accuracy of information
  • IT literate – high level of competence with Microsoft Office products especially Microsoft Excel, Teams & SharePoint.
