The Team: lead by our courageous Director of People Experience, EMEA are a team of highly skilled and professional HR Business Partners (4) and HR Advisors (2) who are as much fun as they are talented within their field of HR! Motivated and determined on delivering HR excellence, they’re also focused on fostering a people centric culture.But we’re not done there…You’ll need to be a hands-on, plate spinner who thrives on variety, enjoys technology platforms, and can juggle the execution of projects and initiatives. Alongside business as usual, such as handling employee relations and issues using mediation, conducting exit interviews and support offboarding, as well as upskilling and advising leaders on performance management, reviews, and improvement plans.Our internal systems include Bamboo HR, Cloud Pay, Comeet, Slack, Teams, Miro, Workboard, plus a raft of other initiatives including OKRs, leadership performance frameworks, onboarding programmes, new manager training, hybrid working & remote working, eNPS, Awards etc.Your day to day role as an HR Advisor includes:

  • Handle enquiries and initial employee relations issues, advising colleagues and leaders on resolutions using mediation or other techniques
  • Enhance performance management processes by upskilling and advising people leaders on annual reviews, probation, and performance improvement/development plans
  • Support the onboarding process for new colleagues, including job descriptions, salary benchmarking, interview support, and contract preparation with the People Services Team
  • Manage colleague data, assist leaders and People Business Partners with sickness absence management, trend reporting, and well-being discussions
  • Conduct colleague listening initiatives, including engagement surveys and new hire roundtables, review data, and report recommendations to leaders
  • Perform exit interviews and support the offboarding process, providing turnover trend data to stakeholders
  • Drive personal development by participating in Elev8 learning paths, Pax8 L&D programs, peer or manager coaching, and taking on stretch projects or on-the-job training
  • Collaborate with business managers to understand team needs, challenges, and opportunities, providing guidance on people strategies to support team goals
  • During times of change, understand the impact, support individuals and leaders as needed, and share feedback upwards

You’ll be ideal HR Advisor for us if you have:

  • Reasonable experience working within a People Operations/HR department at a coordinator/administrator/advisor level, with a good working knowledge of core HR best practice
  • Previous experience with contract writing, foundational policies, HRIS administration and process improvement
  • Demonstrated knowledge of dealing with first line employee relations issues, including absence management, probation reviews, and performance improvement plans
  • Proficiency with core Microsoft office tools, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Teams.
  • Understanding of good employee engagement practices with experience in holding employee listening groups and engagement survey management.
  • Ability to effectively coach and influence key stakeholders in HR practice
  • Highly organised detail-oriented with an ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to grasp complex ideas and change direction quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels in English and other relevant languages depending on the market
  • This is a 12 month fixed term contract initially

Designated Office & Working pattern

  • 12 month fixed term contract initially
  • Monday to Friday
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • 9am – 5:30pm
  • Hybrid: Office and home working
