People Operations AssociateResponsible to:People Operations TeamleaderDepartment:People OperationsLocation:JD Sports Fashion PLC (multi sited), Kingsway Distribution Centre, Michael Faraday Avenue, Milnrow, Rochdale, OL16 4FW or Bury Office, Hollins Brook Way, Pilsworth, Bury BL9 8RRKey Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the maintenance of personnel records throughout the employee lifecycle within our HRIS system for Group colleagues across the UK and ROI.
- Responsible for all onboarding checks including checking right to work documentation.
- Process all changes of terms and conditions, change of job role, salaries, benefits etc.
- Issuing all documentation in relation to employment i.e. contracts, offer letters
- Responding to and managing colleague queries via the internal request tracker system, emails and telephone calls, escalating where appropriate.
- Internal and External referencing and background checks
- Produce Staff Discount/ID Cards.
- Access provisioning within our HRIS system
- Ad hoc people operations duties as required
Skills/Knowledge Needed:
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient use of MS Office and HRIS Systems.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to competing priorities whilst maintaining confidentiality
- Ability to build strong working relationships
