People Operations AssociateResponsible to:People Operations TeamleaderDepartment:People OperationsLocation:JD Sports Fashion PLC (multi sited), Kingsway Distribution Centre, Michael Faraday Avenue, Milnrow, Rochdale, OL16 4FW or Bury Office, Hollins Brook Way, Pilsworth, Bury BL9 8RRKey Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the maintenance of personnel records throughout the employee lifecycle within our HRIS system for Group colleagues across the UK and ROI.
• Responsible for all onboarding checks including checking right to work documentation.
• Process all changes of terms and conditions, change of job role, salaries, benefits etc.
• Issuing all documentation in relation to employment i.e. contracts, offer letters

• Responding to and managing colleague queries via the internal request tracker system, emails and telephone calls, escalating where appropriate.

• Internal and External referencing and background checks
• Produce Staff Discount/ID Cards.
• Access provisioning within our HRIS system
• Ad hoc people operations duties as required

Skills/Knowledge Needed:

• Strong communication skills
• Proficient use of MS Office and HRIS Systems.
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to competing priorities whilst maintaining confidentiality
• Ability to build strong working relationships
