To date, we’ve raised over £20 million, with the support of blue-chip investors who back our vision including Sumitomo Corporation, Hyundai Motor Company, and Aviva Ventures, West Hill Capital, and Breed Reply.We’re building something big, from the ground up, so this is a great chance to get on board and make a mark on a company that you can call your own.What you will be doingThe People & Operations Associate sits within the People & Operations team, and reports to the Director of People & Operations. This is the perfect role for a junior HR professional who is looking to get stuck into exciting People & Operations initiatives whilst still having the full support of an experienced manager and senior leadership team. In this role, you’ll be working on all things people and operations related, supporting people initiatives whilst keeping the business ticking along. These include but are not limited to;

  • Lead our recruitment efforts from beginning to end, partnering with hiring managers and ensuring the candidate process is as seamless as possible.
  • Own and manage the entire 360 employee lifecycle, onboarding process, probation, tech-stack setup, offboarding process and beyond
  • Establishing a strong employer brand that will appeal to suitable candidates, headhunting and managing a strong talent pool through to hire with supporting candidate packs
  • Drive fair and equitable recruitment practices by ensuring our talent evaluation methods and scoring matrix are consistent at every stage
  • Responsible for owning the structure, administration, process and continuous improvement of our quarterly performance processes
  • Work in partnership with all managers to continuously improve and build on our competency frameworks.
  • Manage our bi-quarterly Employee Net Promoter surveys, from inception through to recommendations and implementation
  • Support the People & Operations team in a wide range of administration when required, this includes but is not limited to managing our HRIS, supporting meeting room and team meeting bookings as well as providing employee guidance with certain aspects, such as holiday bookings, illness tracking, policy improvement and document management
  • Own our social activities through various social events with support from the Social Committee
  • Manage the rollout of our Health and Safety practices, including DSE assessments and annual reviews for both remote and office based staff.
  • Track employee tenure and birthdays to ensure these moments are celebrated throughout the team
  • Constantly iterate on process and policy making sure they are inline with our culture, as well as best practice
  • Supporting in the procurement, accounting and compliance of company assets.
  • Once you’re nailing the core functions of the role, there will be scope to support on other initiatives dependent on business need – such as wellbeing, learning & development, DEIB

Location (Hybrid):We believe in balance and will trust you to work effectively at home, with attendance to the office on a Thursday, our core day.RequirementsWe are looking for an enthusiastic person who will be able to support on and lead our People, Talent & Culture projects and initiatives, providing best-in-class employee experience to our growing team.You’ll be hands-on, self-motivated, people-focussed and results-driven. We are looking for someone who doesn’t miss the small details and who has proven experience with the end-to-end employee lifecycle.Working as part of the People & Operations Team you will ensure our people are taken care of, are happy, engaged and celebrated.Required:

  • You have roughly 1-2 years’ experience in a generalised people operations role, ideally at a fast growing organisation/start-up/scale-up.
  • You have previous experience working across the whole employee 360 lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, performance management and learning and development.
  • You have experience of how to secure a People First Culture and what it takes to build, develop, and maintain good people and culture practices.
  • You lead with data and are able to demonstrate how you use data to support your decisions.
  • You’re skilled at advising on process and influencing at all levels, and are a natural presenter, who is comfortable facilitating team meetings and presenting to Executive and Senior Management.
  • You’re a team player, with a positive and energetic personality with the willingness to get stuck in wherever needed.
  • You’re autonomous, with excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Setting up individuals for success is what drives you, you are always one step ahead and always go the extra mile for your team.
  • You will be handling confidential information, so it goes without saying that you will be conscientious and have a high degree of tact, personal integrity and confidentiality

Preferred:

  • Some demonstrable knowledge of UK employment legislation.
  • Experience using data to suggest the best outcomes for the business and our People.
  • Proficient using typical People Techstack: PeopleHR, Confluence, Slack, Google, Azure and Workable.
  • Proficient user of Google Sheets & Slides
