We care about local communities and are really proud to connect our customers to local dairies, bakers and producers.You can find us across the UK and in the US (Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island)Your mission 💪We’re looking for an Agile People Operations Partner to come and join a lean team of two. You will be responsible for creating impactful experiences for our team across the whole employee lifecycle. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their role, who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck in!Key Responsibilities 🥛

  • Designing and implementing innovative employee experiences throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Building relationships with stakeholders across the whole business and be the go-to person for all things employee relations.
  • A super user of our internal tools (Hibob, Thanksben, Miro), ensuring they are being used effectively.
  • Setting up new starters for success and offboarding people ready to move on.
  • Internal communications (office updates. event updates, system updates, benefit updates, new starter comms etc)
  • Reviewing and improving our policies and procedures, ensuring legal compliance
  • Looking at creative new ways we can work across the business to keep our team engaged. This might be through social events, lunch and learns – We’ll leave that up to you!
  • As we grow into the US, aligning our processes to scale
  • And most importantly a true advocate of Modern Milkman and all of what we stand for!

What You’ll Bring 💡

  • Extensive experience in People Ops or People & Culture roles, ideally in a scaleup or FMCG environment across multiple markets.
  • Deep knowledge of employment law with a passion for designing impactful employee lifecycle experiences.
  • Proficiency in people SAAS tools (Hibob, Thanksben, Miro), with a focus on automating and scaling processes.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to report on core people metrics and influence data-driven decisions.
  • High resilience, attention to detail, and the ability to balance reactive work with long-term projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of ‘people as a product’
  • Low ego, with the resilience to work with lots of ambiguity and changing of priorities
