Full Job DescriptionWe are currently hiring Personal Support Workers (PSWs) for Long Term Care homes (LTC) in The Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and other locations within Ontario. Must have Canadian certification!Dragonhart Staffing and Recruitment Inc. is a staffing agency that supports Long Term Care (LTC) Homes with staffing solutions. Responsibilities and duties:

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, skin care, feeding, continence care, etc.)

• Answer call bells and identify changes in residents’ condition and report to the Charge Nurse

• Perform delegated and or assigned tasks and documentation under the supervision of the Charge Nurse

• Physical ability to meet the demands of the job (ex: the ability to stand, bend, walk, crouch, kneel and reach freely for extended periods, climb stairs, ability to lift 23 kg independently, ability to assist clients with standing, walking, sitting, and with mobility in a wheelchair; able to reposition clients in bed or wheelchair)

Qualifications

• Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate from a Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities or the Ministry of Education approved program, or

• Nursing Student- must have completed one year of the program and enrolled in the second year. We offer self-scheduling opportunities that fit perfectly with your school schedule, or

• CPR certificate

• Vulnerable Sector Check, immunization records, and Tuberculosis test.

• COVID-19 vaccine proof of 2+doses
