The nanny will be responsible for his overall care, including fostering his language skills and engaging him in stimulating activities that nurture his intellectual and emotional development. A solid understanding of child development, ideally with experience in teaching or a pedagogical background, is essential. The nanny will also be required to prepare healthy, delicious meals tailored to the child’s preferences, encouraging him to explore a variety of nutritious foods.The successful candidate will need to be kind, structured, and reliable, with the ability to create a warm and nurturing environment. A background in raising children or an understanding of child development is highly desirable. The nanny must hold a valid driving licence, as daily school drop-offs and pick-ups will be part of the routine. When the child is at school until 3:30 p.m., the nanny will assist with light household duties, such as tidying the child’s room, organising his wardrobe, and providing general housekeeping support alongside the housekeeper. The household is fully staffed, including a house manager and weekend cleaner.This is a live-in position, offering private accommodation, including a bedroom and en-suite bathroom. The working schedule can be either a rotational 7-days-on, 7-days-off pattern or a 5-day workweek with weekends off. In the rotational arrangement, handovers will take place on weekday mornings. Working hours are from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.The salary is up to £250 per day, with preference given to self-employed candidates. However, a formal contract may also be considered. Relocation support may be available on a case-by-case basis.
