Job Description:SummaryPhysician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care – HSHS Medical Group – Taylorville, IllinoisHSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC/BE Primary Care Physician (FM and IM will both be considered) for our Multispecialty Care Clinic in Taylorville, IL. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System.Practice Highlights

  • Well established, growing practice
  • 100% Outpatient Practice
  • Monday-Friday weekly schedule with an option of a 4 or 5 day work week
  • Minimal call through 1:7 group shared call
  • Dedicated support staff provide
  • Support staff work 10 hour days in order to arrive prior to patient appointments starting and after patient appointments end. This allows them to assist with prepping for patients in the morning and with patient call backs as well as inbox tasks at the end of the day.
  • On-site access for labs and X-rays
  • EPIC EMR

Position Requirements

  • Unrestrictive Illinois license prior to start
  • Board Certified or Board Eligibility

QualificationsEducationMaster’s degree in Nursing is required.Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred.ExperienceExperience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.Certifications, Licenses and RegistrationsLicensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred.Federal DEA license is preferred.Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.Physical Requirements:
