ResponsibilitiesJoin us for a Medical Assistant and Clerical Professional (Front Office and Scheduler) hiring event for Northside’s Cherokee area Physician Practices!When: Wednesday, August 14th, 3:00 PM-6:30 PMWhere: Northside Hospital Cherokee – Calleria Conference RoomQualificationsMedical Assistants:REQUIRED * Graduate of Medical Assistant program or Graduate of a U.S. Military Medic course.

• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
• Color vision acuity is required to safely perform the duties of this position if such duties are related to lab duties.

PREFERRED * Certified as Medical Assistant.Front Office Assistants:KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

• 1 year clerical/secretarial experience preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Basic computer skills

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

• Successful completion of course in Medical Terminology or commensurate experience
• Proficient in the use and application of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
