We’re seeking individuals like you.Role and Responsibilities:
Ascertain job requirements from drawings or other specifications.
Select length of stainless steel and carbon steel piping and to cut it to the required size with hacksaw, pipe cutter or machine.
Prepare and position pipework and flanges for subsequent welding, alignment orientation, gaps, spacing, straightness whilst welding and arc welding.
Bend small bore piping using pipe bending machine
Join metal piping by thread cutting and screwing.
Check pipe preparations, tack welded joints, alignment, straightness and dimensional accuracy.
Install prefabricated sections on site.
Trained and operate trade required machinery.
Carryout Firewatch/Stand By duties.
Adhere to all safety requirements including safety checks of tools and equipment.
Use Oxy/fuel hand burning/heating/cutting equipment.
Use all relevant workshops/site equipment associated with job requirements including all relevant training/certification requirementsWhat we are looking for:
