The Bakery Leader, reporting to the Regional Operations Leader, will provide hands-on leadership for one of the bakeries in the GTA. You will insure that all production schedules are met safely, and on time, while continually providing collaborative leadership, working with all departments to assist in the reduction of costs; improvement of production efficiencies, coach and mentor you team in quality processes, all within a fast paced food manufacturing environment.Salary Range: $120,000/year – $150,000/year (based on experiene level)What Wonderbrands Offers:

Job Responsibilities:

• Leads by example and fosters an environment of mutual respect and teamwork among Teams
• Responsible for leading all manufacturing leaders, and team members, and fostering a Health & Safety environment
• Leads, coaches, mentors and supports leaders in the Bakery
• Ensures production schedules are met
• Oversee reporting of the bakery’s KPIs
• Works collaboratively with the T&D team to ensure compliance on people practices and to address any Team Member related issues
• Follow-ups and manages any issues that happen in the bakery.
• Works closely with home office teams (R&D, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering and more)
• Is visible throughout the bakery, and co-ordinates the various department schedules, products and manpower to ensure that the production in the bakery runs smoothly
• Works closely with maintenance and sanitation teams to insure BRC standards in the plant
• Provides orientation and training as required to ensure an effective and efficient work force
• Ensures that a safe working environment is maintained at all times by enforcing Company Standards and following up on regular inspections.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably at the plant management level.
• Must be a demonstrated leader who easily interacts with others and is adept at leading and motivating a team to meet demands established by the schedule
• Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexible to be on call as needed
• Working knowledge of GMP’s, HACCP & O.H.S.A required Strong mathematical and computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Post-secondary education an asset
• Be a model to others. A “hands-on” style and is aggressive in achieving desired results
