You will help us improve our platform, improving developers’ experience, reliability and scalability using a lean approach.You will work with a techie, multi-disciplinary and lovers team which will give support across the company and integrate with all squads! We need you to help us with very attractive challenges in order to help Tymit to scale to the number of users we are aiming for; in reliability, scalability, observability, and security!We need you to help us with the main task: Apps migrations from clusters technologies (field project AWS ECS!), with the challenges, that this implies on Monitoring/Insights, Configuration, Logging, zero-downtime upgrades, CI/CD, all around this new technology which is being an amazing journey of tech learning and problem-solving.About the cultureBe ready to join a company where collaboration is key. • Perform Platform Cloud Architecture designs and implementations.
• Perform Data Platform Cloud Architecture designs and implementations.
• Maintain and expand CI/CD Pipelines: ensure Security and QA checks are in place in order to deliver quality artifacts.
• Expand observability functionality to measure: Service Latencies SLOs; Service Availability SLOs; hardware and service performance; and maintain the observability services.
• Run support Platform Support tickets: help engineers configure their Apps Securely; setup secrets following the right security policies; help engineers detect potential service problems on their deployments.

Key technologies we use at TymitPlatform team: Cloud Provider & Clustering (AWS, ECS), IaC (Terraform, Ansible & Packer), Observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentd + Opensearch), CI/CD (Jenkins), Network stack (NGINX & Traefik).At Tymit team we also work with technologies such as Java/Kotlin Quarkus/Micronaut, GraalVM, Gradle, Kotlin, SwiftUI, Swift, NodeJS, React/Redux/WebPack, Python, among others.We are always open to adopting new tools to solve complex problems, so we’re ready to discuss options with anyone with the right experience.What you will bring along

• Understand how to use CI/CD systems from a user and admin perspective (desired Jenkins or similar ones with Pipelines as code concept)
• Some experience using and admin SCM solutions like Bitbucket/GitHub, etc.
• Understand how basic Git version control works main concepts, and how to manipulate the different branch life to follow a git life cycle.
• Experience using Linux systems from a user and admin perspective level, and the main core UNIX principles.
• Knowledge and experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Golang, Ruby, etc.
• Ability to design minimal/basic architectures within the preferred cloud provider (desired AWS) and the main components (Networking, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Databases, Clusters/Instances/Serverless).
• Familiarity with Cloud Watch, Prometheus, or similar metrics, and understanding how to query them.
• The capability of implementing nominal access to a system with minimal permissions in the preferred cloud provider.
• Experience creating clear technical documentation.
