We are passionate about rewarding excellence and helping people to grow, both personally and professionally, during their time with us.If you are looking for opportunities within a progressive, innovative, and nurturing organisation; and have the energy, passion, and commitment to deliver excellence, we would love to hear from you.We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Plating Operator within our growing Plating Team.In a nutshell you will be responsible for:You will be working in a fast-paced plating department where you will be one of the team supporting running our 4 plating lines to support the production demands of the plating department.What you are already great at:

  • Striping chrome rejects and operate the jig striping line when required.
  • Striping bronze work when required.
  • Ensuring work instructions and procedures are always followed.
  • Liaising with external suppliers regarding maintenance, repair and improvement plans.
  • Liaising with others as required and assisting as necessary in resolving any quality or production issues.
  • Operating the Gold line and colour change as and when required.
  • Covering the inspection / viewing area, as and when required.
  • Jigging/un-jigging and loading/unloading plant.
  • Identifying jigs that are damaged / in need of recoating and quarantine.
  • Identifying recording and packing components.
  • Organising product for processing to ensure timely processing of trays and effective utilisation of plant.
  • Making and recording process additions and process maintenance.
  • Undertaking all work in accordance with work instruction sheets and standard process procedures and operations.
  • Completing production and technical records.
  • Recognising, rectifying, or reporting any trends in rejects and other quality issues.
  • Conducting the planned maintenance as and when required.
  • Liaising with others as required and assisting as necessary in resolving any quality or production issues.
  • Maintain good communications and relationships throughout the company.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and make suggestions for improvement.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe working environment and good housekeeping standards and ensure 5S standards are maintained.
  • Reporting any issues to the team leader.
