Job description
Plumas Pines Golf Resort is now hiring Golf, Pro-Shop and Course Maintenance positions for the 2025 seasonIf you love the game of golf and enjoy working in a fun and outdoor environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.Grounds Maintenance
- Maintain and care for the golf course grounds, including mowing, watering, edging, and fertilizing.
- Assisting with course set-up for daily play, including flag placement and tee box preparation.
- Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Operate light motorized equipment & utility vehicles on the course. No previous experience necessary.
Pro Shop
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the Pro Shop, including stocking merchandise and assisting customers.
- Assisting with Pro Shop operations, such as checking in golfers, handling payments, and answering customer inquiries.
- Help organize and execute tournaments, events, and leagues as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks in the Pro Shop, such as cleaning and restocking supplies.
- Assist with player services, such as golf club rentals, cart rentals, and managing tee time reservations.
- Uphold the golf course’s standards for customer service, professionalism, and safety at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working on a golf course or in a Pro Shop preferred.
- Knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and course maintenance practices.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects as needed.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
