If you are successful in a part time role this will be pro-rata’d to reflect your working hours.Please note: Exceptions to starting salary may apply if you are an existing Police Staff employee substantively posted to a role at the same grade.Does Flexi-Time apply to this role?NoAllowancesWeekend Working paymentShift Pattern / RotaAdditional allowance informationFor additional information on allowances please see our pagePart/Full TimePart TimeHours per week18.5We welcome applications from individuals wishing to work on a part-time basis and are willing to consider flexible working patterns subject to business need.Published role profile/ job descriptionInterviews will commence the week of27 January 2025Job Advert DescriptionThe starting salary for 18.5 hours per week is £18,315 per annum (pro rata £36,630 per annum).This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to be involved in the reopening of front desks across Devon & Cornwall.You will be required to cover Newton Abbot, Torquay and Kingsbridge.Duties include to supervise a team of Police Enquiry Officers (Front Counter Team), (PEOs) ensuring the highest quality service is provided for all visitors to our Police Enquiry Offices, so as to improve the public’s confidence in the services provided, enhance levels of customer satisfaction and meet the Force standard for Customer Contact.Ensure that PEOs are fully embedded into the Local Policing Team, are providing adequate support and have received appropriate training to enable them to undertake the tasks and responsibilities of the role.Manage the shift rotas and annual leave allocation to ensure appropriate staffing levels across all locations to guarantee published opening hours.
