Our team is the driving force behind our role as our customers’ personal holiday expert – the smart way to get away.The impact you’ll have:Reporting to the Head of PR and Communications, this is an exciting opportunity to join our brand and PR function at loveholidays, providing hands-on tactical and strategic support to ensure we deliver against our communications objectives.As PR Manager, you will play an integral role in protecting and enhancing our brand reputation at all times. Our PR team operates a busy proactive and reactive press office, and is always on the lookout for opportunities to land high impact coverage that drives fame for the brand.We’re looking for someone who is ambitious, creative, has a knack for identifying newsworthy stories and is seasoned in crisis and issues management.   • Support in the delivery of a best in class PR and communications strategy to reach consumer and corporate audiences
  • Manage inbound press enquiries and proactively identify opportunities to protect our reputation
  • Drive fame for the brand and maximise our presence in the news agenda by closely monitoring industry updates and trends, and identify newsjacking opportunities
  • Produce press releases, media pitches, briefing documents and other communications materials
  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant national, regional and travel trade journalists
  • Work closely with the SEO team and digital PR agency to develop outreach campaigns that secure quality backlinks and build our domain authority
  • Produce regular and meaningful measurement reporting to track progress – and continually looking for ways to optimise performance

Your skillset:

  • Ability to build media facing narratives that highlight our brand messages and capture journalists’ attention, ensuring they genuinely understand who we are and what we do
  • Customer centric mindset; able to influence internal stakeholders to make customer-driven change
  • Entrepreneurial spirit; a team player with excellent attention to detail
  • Superb written and oral communications skills, with the ability to think and act with speed
  • Highly organised and efficient, able to work clearly and effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, working with stakeholders at all levels of seniority
  • Experience in a similar role in either an in-house press office function or fast-paced PR agency
  • Experience of crisis communications and issues management
  • Experience of managing and executing consumer-facing brand building PR campaigns
  • Experience of managing and executing trade facing corporate positioning programmes

Not necessary but would be desirable to have:

  • Knowledge and understanding of the travel sector
  • Knowledge and understanding of digital PR and the dynamics of SEO authority
  • Strong UK and Irish media relationships, ideally across travel and consumer affairs
  • Experience managing agency relationships
  • Knowledge of the evolving social and influencer landscape
  • People management experience would be beneficial – there may be line management opportunities in the future

  • Second stage in-person in the Hammersmith office with key stakeholder/s including a task to present – 1 hour
  • Final stage with Chief Marketing Officer – 30 mins
