Job DescriptionYou will be responsible for developing and implementing our Group Corporate PR strategy. Reporting into the Senior PR Manager and will be based full time at our Oxford Street HQ.You will deliver an effective PR strategy for Frasers Group, working with our Senior PR Manager to develop messaging for external communications and supporting the delivery of corporate business announcements effectively. Alongside this you will:

  • Drive and support the development and delivery of press releases and external facing statements
  • Confidently manage incoming enquiries from business and retail press
  • With the communications team, deliver and execute for key business milestones including Company Results
  • Support with the management of the Group’s Communications Calendar and actively seek new opportunities for executive team
  • Work collaboratively with all relevant stakeholders to ensure there is an efficient flow of information across the organisation
  • Work alongside the People team to align internal and external communications plans
  • Develop long-term communication strategies with external corporate PR advisors
  • Manage and support Press Officer and Group PR Assistant
  • Monitor and report on social, economic and political trends
  • Bring an established network of journalists and industry peers

Qualifications

  • 5 years’ experience in PR and Communications
  • Ability to strategise and think about the larger business image
  • Experience working in a large retail organisation is preferable, but not essential
  • Experience supporting a business’ corporate communications and financial results
  • Effective communication skills with excellent use of written English and attention to detail
  • In-depth knowledge of PR channels, newspapers and TV networks
  • Strong organisational skills, time management, the ability to prioritise, be flexible and multitask
  • A business-minded individual with an understanding of retail, corporate branding, and communications
