We are looking for a Pricing Analyst for our office in Southampton, UK who conducts thorough analysis of Internal data trends, competitor pricing strategies, and customer behaviors to help make informed pricing decisions that drive profitability and revenue growth for LR. The initial focus area will be supporting the In-Service codified commercials program, focusing on MMS standard pricing, TSO and Site Survey standard pricing, and zonal charging, progressing to providing critical support to the delivery of a CPQ (Cost, Price, Quote) tool delivering codified pricing across New Construction, Materials, Equipment, and Components (MEC) and IN Service portfolios. Maintain current pricing models. Bid reviews and approvals
The role will be part of the FP&A team with a dotted line into the Pricing Director.What we offer you

The role

  • Eliminate or minimize employee exposure to risks by reviewing, regularly, the health and safety risk register
  • Applying appropriate controls, communicating results of risk assessment, and ensuring that health and safety are considered in the planning and execution of all LR activities.
  • Manage your own and your team’s compliance with health and safety rules, instructions, systems, and legal requirements, ensuring employees are suitably trained and adequate resources are available to work safely.
  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement pricing strategies and align with overall business
  • objectives as part of a key internal project (Codified Commercials)’.
  • Provide valuable pricing insights identifying risks and opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop pricing models and strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor and evaluate pricing performance and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Support FP&A with ad hoc analysis

What you bring

  • Qualified accountant (ACA or CIMA) and currently operating at a senior finance level in a global organization
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience of international multi-site and multi-currency organizations
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze large data sets
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Detail-orientated with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of pricing strategies, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel.
  • Ability to understand and assess complex and sometimes unfamiliar situations, visualize solutions and see through to
  • resolution and work effectively within a matrix organization.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
