We are looking for a Principle Environmental Consultant to join our Infrastructure team in Leavesden, Hertfordshire.
What you’ll do:
- Support the Environment Consultancy Team Lead, and Lead in their own specialism, namely Air Quality and Carbon.
- Deliver high quality consultancy for given deliverables within projects.
- Lead the Environmental Consultancy team on business development, with respect to Air Quality and Carbon.
- Maintain and increase teams’ knowledge of key environmental standards, policies and legislation.
- Deliver projects Air Quality and Carbon
- Drive and promote the sustainability subject throughout the organisation.
- Independently plan day-to-day activities and resources appropriately managing the project resource projection.
- Represent the company at external meetings, engagements, and industry events.
- Work collaboratively with environmental and engineering specialists to improve the environmental performance on projects.
- Lead on tendering and business development activities.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- A relevant degree within Environmental Management, Sustainability, or equivalent.
- Sustainability knowledge, with over 15 years’ experience in the field.
- To be an associate or full member of the Institute of Air Quality Management (IAQM)
- Achieved or demonstrably working towards Chartered Environmental Status and Full membership of IEMA, IES or similar
- Experience in large scale infrastructure and Building projects, eg, rail, highways, energy, commercial / residential
- Dispersion modelling, clear knowledge and analysis in using ADMS, ADMS-roads, AERMOD, BREEZE or similar software.
