This role can be based in any of our UK offices but will ideally be reachable from the midlands.Working as part of our Waste and Generation Team, you will have an opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects including conventional EfW plants, district heating, gasification projects, hydrogen generation schemes and multiple biogas production projects.Leading our team of global experts, you will use your knowledge and experience to deliver innovative, sustainable, and efficient engineering solutions for our clients and the communities around us.You will provide technical leadership on multi-disciplinary projects teams in terms of developing and managing people, tasks and oversight on project scope and risk. You will lead the digital delivery strategy from process modelling, mass balances to P&IDs, using appropriate software to provide advice, solutions and successful project outcomes for clients. Finally, we will be looking for you to mentor and coach our team of process engineers to continue their journey to become world leaders in their field.As Designers in the construction/energy/waste sectors it is incumbent on us to take our responsibility for HSE matters seriously and we foster a culture of open scrutiny and continuous improvement in these areas.More information on Stantec’s Energy & Resources team can be found here:Stantec Energy Transition – UKAbout YouTo be considered for this opportunity you must be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Chemical or Process Engineering or other relevant subject with experience within the water industry, across water or wastewater. Candidates with experience of both will be welcomed. You must also be a member of a relevant engineering institution i.e. IChemE.This is a chance to join a dynamic team in supporting the delivery of a variety of projects across the UK and Ireland, with opportunities to support global projects and teams. You will provide technical leadership on projects in terms of developing and managing people and tasks, managing budgets, scope and risk.
