Join AWS as a Principal Product Manager to shape the future of application integration and distributed systems. In this role, you’ll drive product strategy and execution for AWS’s integration services, including Amazon EventBridge and AWS Step Functions, helping customers build modern, scalable, and resilient applications.The AWS serverless group is looking for a Principal Product Manager to be part of the Vancouver-based Application Integration team growing AWS Step Functions and Amazon EventBridge.As part of the team you will:
– Own and drive the long-term vision and strategy for AWS’s application integration services
– Partner with engineering leadership to define and execute the technical roadmap
– Gather and analyze customer feedback, market research, and competitive intelligence to inform product decisions
– Work backwards from customer needs to launch new features that simplify building distributed systems
– Author documents relating to product life cycle including product roadmap, business requirements and functional specifications.
– Work collaboratively with Engineering as an advocate for the needs of our customers
– Evaluate industry innovations and technology platforms and identify partnership and collaboration opportunities
– Build strong relationships with enterprise customers and partners to understand their integration challenges
– Drive product launches and go-to-market strategies in collaboration with marketing teams
– Mentor other product managers and help raise the bar for product management across AWSWhat does it take to succeed in this role? – 5+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
– Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– Experience with Event Driven Applications

Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
