Principal Software Engineer

The Principal Software Engineer is a pivotal member of the Cross-Functional team that drives innovation in inkjet and vision systems.

Within this position, you will:

• Help lead design, implementation, and maintenance of software within the R&D/new product development team

• Create innovative technical concepts and solutions to solve customers needs or to meet internal design requirements

• Root cause analysis and resolution of complex multi-domain issues of prototype systems

• Be a principal member of the team, leading specific activities and swimlanes

Your skills and experience include:

• Experience as a principal commercial software engineer in C++ Experience of working within a new product development or R&D environment

We are searching for someone who is:

• Hard working, willing to tackle new projects and deliver results on time to required standards

• Willing to take the lead on projects, has a continuous improvement mindset, and open to sharing their thoughts and ideas

• A hands on engineer, someone who enjoys working in the lab, with other engineers/disciplines

• A fast learner is required, someone who is seeking professional development and a career within R&D
